Founded in 1952
Fine Art Lamps was founded in 1941 by Jack Blumberg who succeeded in attracting talented designers, sculptors, mold-makers and decorative artists whose talents had roots in the ancient crafts of Italy. The company's philosophy is to create new and original work while producing an affordable product in good taste. Design integrity, quality control and reliable delivery service has been the key to their success. Fine Art Lamps finishes are their fortè. These hand finishes are a hallmark of a Fine Art Lamps design and can be found on beautifully crafted forms of metal, glass, ceramic and resin. Internationally, Fine Art Lamps are sold in 38 countries on six continents having succeeded in meeting the retailer and contract/design community's specific needs. Max Blumberg, Jack's son, assumed chairmanship of the company in 1970 and moved the company to Florida in 1976 where the practice of good design and craftsmanship in the "fine art" of lamp making continues. Fine Art Lamps today is the largest manufacturer in Florida. Fine
